Scholarship Application Instructions

A COMPLETE APPLICATION PACKAGE MUST INCLUDE:

A COMPLETE AND SIGNED APPLICATION

TWO RECOMMENDATIONS:

Include two completed UCC Recommendation forms from instructors, counselors, employers, etc.  Carefully select the individuals recommending you, as their assessment of your academic eligibility will be important to the selection committee.  (Only two recommendation forms will be accepted).

Recommendation forms are to be submitted with UCC Scholarship Application:

• For the Foundation Application Upload 2 Recommendation Forms to the online UCC Foundation Scholarship Application
• For any Outside Scholarships that use the UCC application return to 2 Recommendation Forms to the Scholarship Office with the UCC Scholarship

*Recommendation forms are required and must be provided with the application by the scholarship due date in order for the application to be considered complete. 

COPY OF TRANSCRIPTS:

Continuing UCC students must provide  most recent transcripts. New UCC students MUST include a copy of most recent high school or college transcripts or a GED certificate with scores.

COPY OF FAFSA AWARD OR CONFIRMATION LETTER:

Include a copy of your FAFSA Award or Confirmation Letter if you wish to be considered for scholarships that require "financial need". These can be retrieved when you completer your Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid (FAFSA online at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov)

• Click on link for UCC Agency Scholarship List
• Follow directions for completing individual agency scholarships
