Kathleen and Doug Jacobson helped to fill a great need in their community when they started Tender Home Care, LLC. The Roseburg-based company’s focus is in-home care and, as such, the agency helps to identify and meet the requirements of clients who are able to live at home but might need extra help to do so. Working with clients and their families, Tender Home Care strives to integrate compassionate, responsible in-home care, into clients’ daily lives. Harrison's Hardware
Harrison’s Hardware, Inc. is a hardware store with a twist: it’s run mostly by women. While being well-rounded in basic hardware needs, the business caters to the local ‘do-it-yourselfers.’ Owner Sharon Harrison likens the store’s character to that of the “the old-timey hardware store with a pot-bellied stove,” only without the stove.
