Roseburg Industrial Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (MA 4011)

The Roseburg Industrial Electrical JATC includes members from both labor and management and works with UCC to implement two apprenticeship programs.

Manufacturing Plant Electrician

This is a four-year program. Apprentices complete 8000 hours of OJT and 576 hours of related classroom training.

Limited Maintenance Electrician

This is a two-year program. Apprentices complete 4000 hours of OJT and 288 hours of related classroom training.

Apprenticeshices should view their apprenticeship as a career that requires an investment of time, resources, and dedication to the learning process. Apprenticeship is sponsored and supported by the employer but implemented by the dedication of the apprentice. Apprentices must assume responsibility for their education and look to the employer for support and guidance.

Be sure to read the standards for the apprenticeship you are interested in to ensure you understand and meet the requirements.
