The May 22 Prix Fixe Dinner will feature Asian cuisine.
Umpqua Community College’s Culinary Arts program will host the second of three annual Prix Fixe Dinners at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 22, in the Danny Lang Teaching, Learning, and Event Center at UCC’s main campus, 1140 Umpqua College Road.
The theme of the dinner, which is prepared by students completing UCC’s culinary arts program, is Asian Cuisine.The menu includes:
- Grilled Prawns with Serrano-Ginger Cocktail Sauce
- Crunchy Garlic-Peanut Cabbage Salad
- Chilled Ginger-Infused Green Tea
- Sticky White Rice with Southeast Asian Sweet and Sour Veggie-Pineapple Chicken
- Mango Tapioca Pudding
Cost for the five-course dinner is $22 per person. Tickets are available online at tickets.umpqua.edu.
The final Prix Fixe Dinner will be June 5. It will feature Italian cuisine.
