Douglas Coos Curry Industrial Trades Apprenticeship Training Committee (MA 4007)

The Douglas Coos Curry Industrial TATC offers the following apprenticeships:

 

Each of these trades is a four-year program. Apprentices complete 8000 hours of OJT and 576 hours of related classroom training.

  • Each apprenticeship consists of 8 six-month periods of training.
  • Merit raises are attached to the apprentice’s current period of training.

 

Candidate selection varies by occupation. Normally, there are two ways to enter a program:

1. Apply when the trade opens for application

2. Enter the program while employed by a company

Be sure to read the standards for the apprenticeship you are interested in to ensure you understand and meet the requirements.

SELECTION PROCEDURES
Once an applicant has been hired by an approved training agent and is indentured into the apprenticeship program the training begins.

Successful completion of this program results in a Journeyman card for your trade.
