UCC offers event for students transferring to four-year schools

Winchester— Umpqua Community College will hold an Oregon Transfer Days event on January 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Indian and Timber rooms in the Campus Center. More than 15 representatives from in-state universities and representatives from out-of-state schools are planning to attend.

Oregon Transfer Days works in cooperation with representatives from Oregon universities and all of the community colleges in the state in order to better assist community college students to effectively transition from a two-year college to a four-year college or university. All students, including high school students and their parents and especially Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree students, are encouraged to attend to help them determine which university is the right choice for them. Refreshments will be provided.
