UCC offers help filling out the essential financial aid form, FAFSA

Winchester— Financial aid experts at Umpqua Community College will be available Saturday, January 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UCC Library to help students fill out their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on-line. Trained volunteers, including seasoned financial aid professionals from UCC, will provide assistance completing the 2009-2010 FAFSA. Staff will also be on hand to answer questions about scholarships.

Students under age 24 must bring at least one parent or legal guardian and any 2008 tax information, i.e. W-2s, year-end pay stubs or completed 2008 Federal Tax Returns.
