Oregon Logging Conference Foundation - New!

Amount: Application for student aid and applicable tuition fees, books, and supplies.

What are the requirements?

PEO Chapter BI Marguerite Scholarship New!

Deadline: February 5, 2016

What are the requirements?

  1. Applicant must be a United States citizen, legal
    resident of Oregon, and attending an Oregon-accredited institution.
  2. Preference is given to a woman re-entering school after significant break in education, especially one with dependents.

  3. Preference is given to a woman already successfully enrolled in school, rather than entering freshman. Extenuating circumstances are considered. Students may be full or part-time (minimum of 6 credit hours).

ZONTA International - Young Women in Public Affairs Award New!

Amount: $1,000

Deadline: February 17th, 2016

What are the requirements?

  1. Completion of the official application (may be printed or downloaded from the Zonta International website, www.zonta.org.
  2. Verification of current enrollment by school/institute official (if applicable), or
  3. Letter from employer stating employment (if applicable).
  4. Two confidential recommendations from adults, not related to the applicant, such as teachers, school officials/employee supervisors or community leaders.

Supporting documentation not requested will not be considered. All applications and supporting information become the property of Zonta International. Zonta International has final authority over any aspect of the Awards.

How do I apply?

The application process must start with a Zonta club. All application materials must be received at a Zonta club by the printed deadline. If you downloaded the application, you must contact a Zonta club for deadline information. Cascade Community Credit Union's Irene Murphy Scholarship - New!

Amount: $5,000

Deadline: March 11th, 2016

What are the requirements?

  1. Applicant must be a member of Cascade Community Federal Credidt Union with an account in his/her name.
  2. Applicant must not have graduated from high school more than 5 years prior to application.
  3. Applicant must be eligible for enrollment as a full time student at an eligible institution. Eligible institutions include any public or private generally accredited post-secondary institution. Full time student status shall be defined by the institution the applicant enrolls in.
  4. Graduating high school applicants must have accumulated a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. College applicants must have accumulated a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. College students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25. An official college transcript verifying GPA must be provided before payments will be made the 2nd-4th years.

Vietnam Veterans of America Umpqua Valley Chapter 805 - New!

What are the requirements?

  1. Must be a veteran honorably discharged or currently active duty or inactive duty reservists.
  2. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a total annual family income under $50,000
  3. Applicant must have the endorsement of their Guidance Counselor on their application attesting they are a qualified fit for the scholarship.

National Federation of the Blind

Amount: $3000 to $12,000

To recognize achievement by blind scholars, the National Federation of the Blind annually offers blind college students in the United States and Puerto Rico the opportunity to win one of thirty merit-based, national-level scholarships worth from $3,000 to $12,000. All scholarships awarded are based on academic excellence, community service, and leadership.
