Roseburg— Umpqua Community College will sponsor a workshop, “How to Start a Business & Find Your Niche,” on Wednesday, April 2, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the UCC Workforce Training Center, 2555 NE Diamond Lake Blvd., Roseburg. The cost is $18 and the instructor is Diane Mahoney. Please call 440-7744 to register and ask for sequence number 42671.

Part I of this workshop will focus on those interested in starting their own business, or for those newly in business. Topics include: local business license and registration procedures, business plan preparation, funding options, forms of business, tax information,and more. Part II consists of a brainstorming session of business ideas to help formulate ideas for business.
