Wine Tasting for Beginners

wine tastingLearn the basics of wine tasting!

Do you like wine, but wonder how wine writers come up with poetic tasting notes? Do you feel intimidated by your wine-snob friends?

This course provides a fun and low-stress way to start appreciating wine on a higher level!

Wine is a complex mixture of tastes and smells, but by examining each part separately, you can begin to see how these parts form a whole. Samples of basic flavors and aromas will be provided so that you can actually taste and smell what is being discussed.

Please eat a light meal before attending class. You must be 21 years or older and bring a valid ID to be admitted. Instructor: Dwayne Bershaw.

CRN: 31027
Date/Day/Time: 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13
Place: Danny Lang Building, Room 201, UCC Campus
Class Fee: $29
