Winchester — The Rapid Response Team, which includes Umpqua Community College, will be hosting a community resource event for those looking for work, fearing unemployment or wanting to learn more about training opportunities and community resources that are available locally.

The event will be Monday, October 27, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, in the Campus Center at Umpqua Community College. Those attending are encouraged to bring a recently updated work resume; employers will be in attendance.

This event will include a Mini Job Fair, Career & Technical Education Program Information and Information about Community Resources.

Individuals who are currently unemployed or may become unemployed, interested in a college training program, and/or interested in learning more about available community resources are encouraged to attend. Snacks and coffee will be available.
