Genealogy III class added at UCC

Winchester— Umpqua Community College’s community education department is offering a class, “Genealogy III: Research and Computer Lab,” Wednesdays, Jan. 7 to Feb. 25, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on campus in Wayne Crooch Hall, Room 19. Cost is $43. To register, call 440-7744 and ask for course 34834.

Jumpstart and brainstorm with instructor and other students in this computer workshop lab to discover secrets to finding the best places to find your target ancestors.

Prerequisite: must have previously taken Genealogy I and II or other genealogy course. For text arrangements and class information, call the instructor, Carolyn, at 679-6690 prior to first class. Class is limited, so please register early. No new students will be accepted after the first class session.
